What two tires do i change on a skid loader if I can only afford two?

All four are the same but i can only afford two right now…Should i change the backs or just one side?

Two front tires since they are carrying most of the weight.

  • Andy Ruane:

    backs

If you do front or backs(really doesn’t matter) you get wheel hop and it will ware out the new tires faster, as both wheels on one side spin at the same speed and circumference of the tires is the issue causing one to spin faster than the other thus hop. and its actually hard on the drive chains, which could lead to expensive repairs down the road, if you do one side then you will save the tires and chains but it will pull to one side when trying to go in a straight line, as a general and to resolve steering headaches or undue ware its always best to change all 4
